Off the Racetrack
IT professional working for large corporations, focused on reliability of complex IT systems. Always involved in sports. From rock climbing to downhill racing, before dropping it all for FPV. Constantly tinkering, putting an engineering head to work on making quads lighter, faster, and more reliable. Happy to collaborate with suppliers on new products. Always busy introducing new obstacles to the local tracks.
On the Racetrack
Started racing at Riverside in 2016 — a 3rd place there secured qualification for the ERSA finals in Ibiza and Drone Worlds in Hawaii the same year. Became the first-ever Dutch FPV Race Champion in 2017, and took the title again in 2022. Attended DR1 finals on the Isle of Man, helped Team KDRA win the season alongside legend MCK. Later that year grabbed 1st and 2nd team wins with Team IRC Race during DCL race in Salina Turda salt mine, Romania. Raced across France, Germany, Luxembourg, Belgium, Spain, the USA, UK, China, Poland, Korea, Turkey, and Switzerland — home of the infamous DCL "fish video." In 2019, stepped into the commentary booth for Drone Champions League alongside Matt Andrews in Laxx (Switzerland), Torino (Italy), and the virtual season finale.
